> After 2 years <

2 years; that's how long it takes for me to write a post. I think i'm the sort of person who wants to get things done quickly, but lacks the will to do it. 2 years ago, i had the initiative to blog (for the fun of it). But I had no will to do it.

But now, i was asked to start blogging again. Well, its time i start brushing up my english. Let's see...hmm.. What have i been up to recently?...

10 April 2009 was the day i finally turn 21.
When we were young we wanted to grow up real quick. The feeling of not being able to do things your way sucks , we all know. And 21 is the "golden" age. This day finally came, for me. But now, i want to be young again. I feel so old now.

2 years ago when i celebrated my 19th (before enlistment), i still feltl young. I WAS still young then, not old enough to do things my way. I wanted to grow up quick (while hoping to escape NS, but its impossible). Time flew. Now, in a short 2 years, i feel i'm not young anymore; as in "我已经不年轻了" that kind of feeling. Maybe it's because i've gone through quite a lot this 2 years, army, influences, overseas experience, and stuff.

Anyway, photos to be up next time.

How You Are In Love

You take a while to fall in love with someone. Trust takes time.

You give and take equally in relationships.

You tend to get very attached when you're with someone. You want to see your love all the time.

You love your partner unconditionally and don't try to make them change.

You stay in love for a long time, even if you aren't loved back. When you fall, you fall hard.

Took a test posted on a friend's blog. Well, it feels quite true. Especially the first line.

Hey, i'm updating again!! I didn't know i would blog so soon again.

A few days back i went to Malaysia, with my 2 bros tagging along which i didn't expect. Normally they would rather spend their time in front of the computer rather than go anywhere else. Took bus to cross the causeway and took a taxi to get to our relative's house. Malaysia's roads really need a make-over. All those ups and downs, and holes all over the road. And the taxi driver don't even know where village is. Roads too long n winding. Road signs are covered by leaves. The roads are rocky, going ups and downs so often. There are roads that's only single lane for both coming and going cars. There's only 1 good thing about the roads there - the highways are wide and not congested, unlike the expressways here.

> Being 19... <

I'm finally 19...
But i spent my whole day sleeping.

9th April, Monday, went to celebrate my birthday a day earlier. 9 April, 9 people.
Met StickerBoy and WOWgirl first. Waited outside the PizzaHut for the others. 6 others, including SomeOne. (I think i need to find a new name for SomeOne...)
9 people, and i was the special one, so Je... No, i think i'll call her OnePretty for now, until i can come up with some more new names.
9 people, special one. Her first words to me were,"Today you birthday boy, you sit here" pointing to the seat that stands out from the rest - the seat in the middle. Wow, that sure is a nice opening line.

People get along so easily these days. Although i know all of them, but some of them were meeting each other for the first time. But they joke like there wasn't a need to know who is who. The power of jokes sure is great.

SomeOne served me 3 slices of pizza. I could only stuffed down 2 and a bit of the 3rd. And half a glass of water and half a glass of coke. OnePretty got the other half of my coke.
Some people sure have weird eating habits. One had a habit of having cheese all over his pizza.
After the dinner, took some photos outside, and WOWgirl had to go home first.

Then we went to play pool. One year of not touching that sure makes me lousy. 2 rounds, and only 1 ball down the hole. Whooho!! I'll have to train more on that.
And after that, we decided to go singing. Went to PartyWorld KTV at Woodlands, but no room for us. So we called Kbox Cineleisure to book a room, just in case.
2 others went home. Thus, 5 teenagers squeeze into 1 taxi and travelled down to Cineleisure. Reached there at 10pm++.

I finally found the courage to sing! Congratulate me, man!! But i definitely work on that too...lots of work.
On the stroke of 12 midnight, SomeOne, OnePretty and another friend came in with a cake! It really did surprised me. Where the hell did the cake come from? I didn't know Kbox sell cake!!
But seriously, i never expected a cake from them.
We really are a bunch of no-idea people...

We sang 'til 6 am in the morning. But by 3, the girls were already dead beat. Only we guys carried on. Only we guys carried on for the most of the 3 hours. The girls did take over for some songs. It would be so wasted to go home then.
I guess we were the only ones who stayed till 6 in the morning. 2 friends went home first, StickerBoy next. The rest and i went for breakfast at mac before taking a taxi to woodlands where they live and i took train home from there.

I finally reach home at about 9am. I went to sleep at about 11am and only woke up at 7.30 this morning (of course i had abrupt waking ups throughout).

I was suppose to help StickerBoy carry something to somewhere else in the afternoon yesterday, but i fell asleep before that. He met another friend of ours. Hmm, maybe i have stayed awake and i would have gotten another birthday greeting. Oh well, i received an electronic greeting from that friend anyway.

Its been so long since i had such a birthday party.
The celebration wasn't a disaster as i predicted. Mostly thanks to SomeOne i guess...

> SomeOne's birthday <

SomeOne is still saying my blog is dying, but the fact is that it's just a koala. I bet SomeOne doesn't know a koala needs to sleep about 20 hours a day. In my case (referring to my blog), its usually a once-a-month thing because my laziness always kick in just when i decide to blog.

Yesterday was SomeOne's birthday, i went out to eat steamboat with SomeOne, StickerBoy and 4 other friends. It wasn't such a great meal , but it was happy event. Laughing, stuffing food into our mouth, eating eggs, and catching flies. I didn't know i could eat that much.
But still, the food isn't worth my $17. $7, at the most.

After that, we spent like half an hour hanging around deciding where to go sing song. But in the end StickerBoy had to go first. So we decided to go somewhere far from where i live, near to where they live. Anyway, i went along. We had fun, even though i never really touch the mic. Singing just isn't my trait.
Sang 'til 1am, and i did something out of the ordinary with 1 of them. It's been so long since i did something so ..... crazy, i guess. So crazy that one taxi driver even stopped the car to "admire" us. Took some photos and continued to have some drinks, and the gals had eggs again.
And we went home, with me reaching home 3 hours before daybreak.
And i guess i still owe SomeOne a present.

Anyway, in 4 days' time, i'll be turning 19. SomeOne is planning to have a dinner on the day, but shifted one day forward 'cause a "guest" can't make it.
I guess if any more (paying) "guests" can't make it SomeOne would be hopping mad.
I have a feeling my birthday would be a disaster this year...

Wow wow wow!!.. Almost another month gone since i've last blogged. SomeOne's been nagging since so long ago but now then did i bother to write something.

Exam's finally over, but i think i'll have disastrous results for it. Luckily its the only exam i have for this semester. Anymore,i think i'll fail them all. I think my brain has just this lil' bit of space, hasn't had time for an "upgrade" yet...
I still have to attend Japanese class back in school, but glad that its the last week. Actually i don't mind still attending school...as long as there's no exam. Japanese lesson is so much more fun than other classes lah! The 2-3 hours doesn't seem like 3 hours at all, unlike other classes which 2 hours could seem like 4 (especially with a particular teacher).

Hmm, its already been 2 years. Time really pass so fast....
I don't know what to say sia...

> A New Year... A Lunar New Year <

It's that time of the month again, the time to blog of course.

Valentines' Day was just before the New Year. Huh, such coincidence. Wonder what year will it be when Valentine's and New Year is on the same day...
Valentine's has always not been the day for me. No lovers or whatsoever. Alright, I've nothing to say about Valentine's anyway.

New Year Eve's reunion dinner was fine. Had steamboat as usual, yearly event. My family has always been the "united" clan. I mean, every New Year, we would always get together. And always at my home on the first day, even though my home is only a 4 room flat which is only 103 sqft.

Reunion dinner is always steamboat. I guess it's because my family, including my relatives, are from the Earning-Just-Enough-To-Get-By group of the society. So we rarely have dinner at the big restaurants, unless it's a really big event, or we have more to spare. But reunion dinner always has it pro-side lah.

My grandma asked me a silly question: When am i getting married.
Seems she already is looking forward to the 4th generation coming...
I didn't know how to answer her question (besides the fact that she speaks hokkien but i know only a lil' of it). She also "aimed" at my cousin who is almost past her supposedly golden age. And of course the uncle who still hasn't had any child wasn't spared either.
At the age of 82, its surprising that my grandma still remembers who has children and who has not married, even though she can forget her grandchildrens' names.

Now, in the past I've always wished there wasn't CNY. I was very shy back then. Shy, to the extent that saying "Happy New Year" to my relatives is a chore. But now, I would gladly say more to get more of that red paper thingy. People say the recent economy is not good. But i think, at least it's better now. It was so pathetic last year. I didn't even get $150 last year! I expect to reach $200 in a week's time, considering the fact that i'm just $12 away from that '2'-zero-zero mark. Visit more homes!!

The first day of the New Year was somewhat boring (my house has always been boring anyway). This year, we ordered buffet. I pity the uncle n auntie who had to work on the day...
The buffet came at 9.30am, when my relatives are expected to reach at noon time. Oh well, what to do besides letting them set up...
