Today was painting day again. But today's job wasn't as major as last weekend...only painted the windows(not the glass pane). I would say that my house is the old-model type of house, as in what most people call "retro", or the 80's type. And during the 80's, aluminium windows most probably aren't available yet, so families use the steel windows.
So we ain't got aluminium windows installed for the whole house. Instead, my parents kept with the steel ones for the front part of the house(living room and study room), and of course, had aluminum windows installed for the other rooms(kitchen, master room, and the bedroom i share with my brothers).
We got the windows painted in a colour that not many people would think of using -
yellow. Just imagine, in a whole block of flats of plainly black windows with some exception of white, and a unit that's rather "outstanding" - it has
yellow windows. How's that for a change?
I don't really know how my house stands out from the rest yet since i hadn't gotten out of the house the whole day. So most probably, only on Monday will i know the result. Plus, tomorrow's the day which i'll be painting the bedroom. It'll be
purple. I wonder how the result will be.....
