Afternoon, we went to a polytechnic's open house today. But before that, we did some window shopping with a friend...and an ex-classmate. That ex-classmate had changed... and it's to an extent that i was very surprised. That's all that i can say.
Followed after, we went to the Republic poly's open house. It's really big and modern...
much much much much much better than my school. And best of all, it's more like a gaming centre than a school.
1) Pratically all the laptops there are games
2) There's WC3, MapleSea, etc... There's even a room specially set aside for team plays and competitions
3) From what i've heard from other people, the 1st year students pratically don't need to study at all
Even if we don't take point 1 and 2 as reasons, point 3 is enough to justify it...
Why do the students even go to school..? Just for attendance.
We went off after 4pm. And i had to walk my friend home... Not that i mind doing it, but it would be better if the weather wasn't so warm. Then on the way home, my parents called me to tell me they're eating out, so i followed them.
After dinner,watched a lighting-up event of the '
Hougang ChinaTown' thingy, and walked down the
pasar malam. The lighting-up thingy's a pretty lame thing, but i still watch it beacuse i had nothing better to do.
