I'm dead beat today.

My school's admin department's 1st year students had games instead of normal lessons today. We're supposed to have lessons for the first hours of the day, which is from 8.15am to 9am. But The teacher thinks that we wouldn't be able to do anything for this 45 minutes, so he let us go prepare earlier.

The thing was suppose to start at 9.30am, but it was dragged on until after 10 then they eventually started.
The first game was a rather...make-use-of-sign language kind of game. 'Zodiac' - a game which an even number group of people sit near each other and try to "act out" the zodiac signs which was written on the piece of paper given to us.
We stayed at the air-conditioned game room for more than half an hour...but in the end, we took less than 1 minutes to finish the game. And we played it only once! Silly, isn't it?

The 2nd game was a new version of 'Dog-And-Bone'. Instead of the traditional call-out-pick-up-and-run, we had 3 items to take. Though different version, but glad that the fun factor still remains.

The 3rd(and last) game was for me to be a blind man...but for just a while It's been a long time since i became "blind". I was just told to go through obstacles and it was just that. So lame..!
But i did partially know how a blind man feels. Being blind really isn't what one would wish to be. Though i could peep a little, but still, being mostly blind isn't good either. The blind's dark world seems...small. Very small. Blind people goes around feeling things to know what things are where. Thus, their "vision" is only limited to their arms length. Poor thing.....

After the games, i went straight home to change and went out again - to play pool.
It was just my 5th time playing pool, so my skills weren't so great. I'm still considered a beginner anyway. But my friends keep telling to advance to intermediate level, even though i know intermediate players are much much more pro than me. Guess what? I've decided to be a beginner in pool for all my life - if it's possible, that is.

After that, i went to play basketball for 2 hours before heading home. That basketball match was just what i needed to get my stomach's excessive oil used up. Congrats to myself - i'm gettin slim again.

Had a rather funny conversation today...shows just how street-wise i am:
guy A: You know we monday we got the dragonboat thingy right?
me: Yah, why?
guy A: Do you know where is it?
me: At Kallang River loh.
guy A: Then where is Kallang river?
me: ......... At Kallang.
guy A: Kallang River is near where?
me: Erm... Singapore River.
guy A: Where is Singapore River? Is it near Bugis there?
me: Yah, yah yah... Kallang is near Bugis.

See how "street-wise" i am now? Now, who wants to ask me for directions??
