I guess i wasn't quite my normal self today...maybe because i'm a lil' disappointed.
Some of my classmates and i went for a business thingy competition, and we got last place. Not that we don't get anything, but it's rather small compared to the big prize. For merit, we got $150 - and we had to divide it by 4 people, which makes it $37.50/pax.
The 1st prize was $400, which means the group who got 1st prize,each member would have $100. That's more than 3 times our prize money!
We had thought our chances of winning are rather high. Who knows, on the day itself (which is today), suddenly every group became so well-prepared for the presentation.
I admit...i'm a lil' disappointed that i don't get $100. But $37.50 is better than nothing.
People always say that it's the process that counts. Rather true, i guess... I did learn new things along the way.
Plus, i did't return empty handed. Though most of the money i get is to cover for food and transportation fees, but it's alright.
I'm happy still
