I went to the island north-east off of Singapore - Pulau Ubin

One fact of the island that i know, and am sure of is that the english translation is 'Granite Island'.
I'm not really sure how the name came about, but it sure is unique.

I had to wake up at 6am to prepare for the trip. And by 7am, i was already waiting for the bus.
I went to meet the only person who's going too - Agnes
About 8.10am, we were on the way already...'cause luckily, she could wake up on time today.

By 9+, we were already at the place of boarding.
We were ushered into a boat with passengers consisting of just teenagers!! There we were, in the boat, together with another group of 11 teenagers of which not one look older than me and her. The ride took about 10-15 minutes only.

My 1st "assignment" when we got there: get a map
At first, we to walk the island bu ourselves, but we found out that we don't know how to read the map. Thus, we got help a tour guide-cum-driver who has an old jeep.
And we ended up having him as our tour guide for more than 2 hours.

That driver, he can make us die of laughter, man... I sometimes really can't stand him. He can be so lame that we'll be at a lost of words. I think he has the word 'L-A-M-E' written on his forehead or encarved in his heart and mind, or whatever.
Besides being lame, he's also a rather good guide, i would say. He introduced us to practically all the.....things and happening on the island.

I don't remember the exact timing, but i think the tour took about 2 1/2 hours only.
12+pm - the trip ended a lot earlier than we expected. We didn't know where else to go, so we stay at the jetty.

Bored with nothing to do, Agnes started to take pictures of herself.
I just admit...she's got some skills. Probably is bacause she has has countless practices of such...i think every frequent "photographer" has the capability to take good pictures.

Went back to mainland Singapore during lunch time without lunch. Went to meet another friend before heading for lunch at 3+pm.

We hung around at the shopping centre 'till 9+ before going home.

Actually we were to stay out overnight so that we could take pictures of the sunrise, But the female was feeling sick, so we decided to go home.
Truthfully, i was really looking forward to the sunrise. I had always wanted to see the sunrise and sunset...

The night before the trip i was quite excited.
"Tomorrow i'm finally gonna see the nicest suns..."
A lil' disappointed for not being able to go...but it's alright. Word from a man, 4 horses hard to chse
