Yesterday i did not attend school because i have a meeting - briefing for a competition.
And it lasted just 30 minutes.
Yes, i am a lazy person, that's why i applied for leave for the whole day. Almost everyone is, i bet. The meeting was suppose to be from 10am-11am. But as usual, the meeting started late. To me, meetings always start late so as to create a "sense of importance" amongst the so-called members.
But thank goodness, the "chairperson" was only late for 10 minutes. And by 10.40am, the meeting was already over, partly 'cause my group did not even raise a single question.
Now, the place we went to for the meeting was at Clementi, which is damn far from my place. I woke up at 5+ in the morning, long before the sunrise, just to prepare for the meeting. Got out of the house before 6am just to be able to take the bus that comes at 6am.
I still reach the meeting place at 6.30am - and still, the sun have yet to rise.
Reached the place where the meeting is held earlier than expected...a LOT earlier.
So had to wait for the time to come before we could go in and get seated.
Of course, the sun, by this time, is already mid-way up in the sky.
Blah blah blah blah..... Ok, the meeting's over!!
Anyway, after that, i went to meet a friend. Did some quick shopping, and stayed at the person's house till evening time.
And next week will be the same...except maybe for the 'going to friend's home' that part.
