I have always wondered why the book "The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown, is the world's best seller. And today, i finally got an answer to that.
I had quit being a bookworm since i entered puberty, so i don't really know any famous authors and books except for a handful, literally.
The world has been debating about this book since it came out. But i never took an interest in what was it all about.
I wasn't very interested to catch the movie since i thought it would be very long and boring. But what kept me wanting for more was my inquisitiveness to find out the meaning of the codes.
The movie was so mind-grabbing that i almost had no feelings or what-so-ever while the movie was on. Codes after codes after codes...they seem never-ending. And they're racing against time while cracking the codes.
But what created the deepest impact in my mind is mankind's saviour's descendent.
Now, though i have some knowledge of Christianity, but i never gave a thought about that. I don't know why that thought never crossed my mind either.
There's one thing that i re-learnt through the movie...
Often the thing that one is searching for, is always closer to us than we know it.
