A few days back, i accopanied Someone to the polyclinic in the early morning. And for that, i woke up at 6am...and i only slept 2 hours before the time which i woke up at. By 6.30am i was already at the bus-stop. I had to be.

Took me an hour to arrive at Someone's place. She didn't know i decided to go with her until i sms-ed her when i reached her place - and i guess she was still in bed then. So i waited a lil' while more before she came down, and we were off. We reached the place a lil' bit past 8am, but there was already a long line of people queueing for a number.

I'll ignore the babies and elderly people, but what surprises me was that most of the the not-yet-elderly people don't look really sick. Mostly were just coughing every now and then, and they sound really trivia. Why do they want to give their hard earned money to the doctors instead of using it to provide for their children? I really wonder if their body immune system works or not...

And another thing... The queueing part was alright, but the waiting-to-see doctor part wasn't. The wait was so long even though students weren't there to get MCs to escape school. We waited for like 3 to 4 damn long hours before Someone was called for. And the actual doctor-seeing-the-patient part lasted less than a minute.
We, the citizens, pay so much money just to get services that lasted less than 10 minutes. Luckily it's subsidised. And just a few days ago, i read about a review on the standard of the polyclinics. It had the same view - the waiting time is too long.

Oh well, getting back... After we left the clinic, i bought lunch to Someone's home to eat. Viewed videos, listened to music, and i even had a nap there. Guess i was tired too. I slept for 2 hours again - from 3 till 5. Watched tv before going home.
