Let me see what i've been up to the past half a month. Hmm....

A week ago i went back to help out at the Biennale again, to pack up the stuff we did. It wasn't as tiring as i thought. I thought it would be a week-long job, but in the end it didn't even last 2 days. I think i will even get extra "allowance" for the little work i've done.
In the end, i got an extra goodie bag too (other than the 2 bags i've gotten on the night of the closing party).

Then there was last Friday, when i played basketball and watched some chio-bu play netball, with StickerBoy.

And Saturday, which is a totally new experience for me.
I was invited to the Ngee Ann Poly's Cycling Club's night cycling event by a friend who is in the club. I wasn't really looking forward to it 'cause i know i was going to be the only one not from the poly. And it needed a $15 initiation fee somemore.

They agreed to meet at about 10pm at the school atrium. But in the end, after dealing with registration and stuff, the cycling only started after the stroke of midnight. Thinking about how long since i've cycled, i started to wonder how long can i last.

So we started, from Clementi to our 1st stop - a stretch of deserted road along Macritchie that leads to a cemetery which is haunted by a pontianak. In short, it's a haunted stretch of road along Macritchie. The moment i turned into the stretch of road, it immediately felt cooler. The air was chilling when zooming down the road, somewhat a lil' bit spooky. We parked our bike at the entrance of a footpath leading to who-knows-where, and walked down the footpath.

It was so dark that we can barely see our fingers. Walked past quite a few small-sized, old, chinese ancestral graves before coming to a deadend. So we turned back loh. We tried our best not to shine at the graves, afraid that we might really see someone without legs sitting on one of the tombs.

After resting a while, we got going again. Next stop was the supposedly Singapore's no.1 haunted mansion (which i have no idea where is it 'cause i just followed blindly). It is said that a family of 10 were all killed in one night. With their head slashed, if i'm not wrong.
Word has it that be it day or night, you can hear the family's screaming and shouting even when you are just walking up to the mansion by the walkway.....
We were allowed to enter and explore it because there was a guard. I wonder if the guard was ever afraid, or does he know the truth... And i also wonder how much does he earn guarding a haunted house.

We continued on to the haunted house in Orchard. It's hard to believe there exists a haunted house in the always busy and populated place. 3 houses to be exact. I wouldn't know we were in Orchard if they didn't tell us the houses was just behind the Takashimaya. And there was a condomunium beside the house.
This house wasn't scary at all. Though it was like all dark and torn, and seem to be able to collaspse with just a sneeze, but upon seeing the environment, all of us sianz already. There were clothes hanging all over the place. Washed clothes being hung out to dry in the middle of the night. Obviously there has to be people staying there.
Must be some illegal bangalas. They must have thought the police had come for a spot check and ran off while we were going up.

Well, next we cycled to the less known Labrador Park. It's said to be haunted too, but i don't have a clue which part is haunted. We just rested there for a while before cycling back to Ngee Ann Poly.

I was better than i expected from myself. I thought i would already be dead after 4 hours, but i still managed throughout the whole journey. I ALMOST gave up on the way back. I just have to push myself to continue cycling. Actually there was a pick-up to pick up those hurt and whatsoever. But what's the purpose if you don't cycle on a cycling trip, right?
